About

Hi,I'm Lyndi and welcome to my blog! My life is at a current phase of mass chaos while trying to balance life, school, research projects, and a little fun now and then. I am a graduate student at Mississippi State University studying beef cattle production.  I work primarily with our two beef extension specialists and my favorite part is getting to visit with producers at various events throughout the state.
I haven't always lived in the South. I was raised in Southwest Kansas where my family raises Angus cattle, I grew up in the 4-H program showing sheep and cattle, and this past May graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelors degree in Animal Science.
In August, I made the "big move" south to the Magnolia State! Since I have arrived, I've learned to say yes and no ma'am/sir (I'm still working on this!), developed a dependence on sweet tea, and enjoy days where we get a break from the sweltering heat!
This blog will be about all the things I love about life...family, friends, great food, agriculture and the cattle industry, photography, crafts/DIY projects, and the list goes on!
Feel free to ask any questions you have along the way by commenting, following me on Twitter @tilthecowscome, Facebook at 'til the Cows Come or sending me an e-mail: tilthecowscome@gmail.com.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!
